High-Frequency Core Loss Analysis of High-Speed Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Machines

Accurate prediction of core losses plays an important role in the design and analysis flux-switching permanent magnet (FSPM) machines, especially during high-speed high-frequency operation. Firstly, based on numerical method, a loss method considering DC-bias magnetization component local hysteresis loops as well harmonic effect is proposed. Secondly, magnetizing characteristics silicon steel sheet and, consequently, electrical used lamination are measured. Then, coefficient each obtained by data fitting tool. Based proposed stator rotor three-phase, 12-stator-slot, 10-rotor-pole (12/10) FSPM machine with different soft iron materials driving modes calculated. Finally, results verified conventional finite element analysis.
